Turben (born 1990, Kirishi) is an artist living and working in St. Petersburg. He began painting during the active development of the graffiti environment. The style of his easel works, which are distinguished by the recognizability of images and the brightness of colors, was influenced by the works of Leningrad artists (for instance, Katya Medvedeva and Ivan Sotnikov), as well as Japanese illustrators such as Mogu Takahashi and Miroko Machiko.
